St Matt’s youth groups are run for anyone in years 7-12 looking for some fun on a Friday night. Every night has a different theme and activities ranging from murder mystery nights, to formal dinners, to where’s Wally at the local shopping centre. On a normal night both groups (Vertex and The Attic) begin the meeting together before splitting up for games and activities. During the night there’s always a teaching time in which there’s either a study or talk based on a theme or book of the Bible. At the end we come back together again to close and hang out for a while. Afterwards the years 11 and 12 youth are invited back to one of the leader’s house (it changes from week to week) to hang out a little longer with each other and some of the leaders. Our leaders are a friendly if eccentric bunch; who are committed to Christ and working with the young people in the Tuggeranong valley.
