Sunday School

St Matthew's offers a Sunday School program for Preschool to Year 6 children at both the 8:30 am and the 10:15 am services. The children begin by meeting with the adults in the main church.

At the 8.30 am service, there is a small but growing number of children who attend Sunday School and meet together in one group.

At the 10.15 am service the children are divided into four age groups and use material that is appropriate for their ages.

A crèche is also available at the 10.15 am service for toddlers.

Kids Club

An after school Kids Club for children in Year 3 to 6 meets on Fridays during school term 4.30-6.30 pm in the church building. All children are invited to attend this kid's club including those who don't attend Sunday church. The program includes teaching from the Bible, games, sharing in food and making craft – with some additional, different activities held during the year to provide variety. Play Groups

St Matthew's runs play groups on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 9.30 am - 11.30 am, and Fridays 10.30 am - 12.30 pm for children 0-4 years old. These groups meet in the parish centre next door to the church and provide parents and carers an opportunity to share a time of fellowship, while their children enjoy games, craft and stories in a Christian environment.
